Great post.

Perhaps I can just add to this that the best way to guard against being ripped off by online sales or auctions of any kind, Craigslist and eBay included—and whether seller or buyer—is to use a *bona fide* online escrow company. Especially for pricier items like antiques, jewelry and autos. Although it does add some cost, it takes the uncertainty out of the transaction, and that’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.

For my money, the best bona fide online escrow (and there seems to be ten fraudulent escrow sites for every bona fide one) is probably Escrow.com (http://escrow.com). In fact, it’s the only one that eBay recommends, and is the only online escrow company that is licensed to provide escrow services all across the United States.

Take care,

Very true, until the day they do decide to release a War of The Worlds game for the next gen I guess the closest thing we have will be Eart Defense Force 2017 on the X360! That was blantantly the influence for that very underrated game!

Couldn't agree more with you mate, I think what's happened is that the developers at Square Enix wanted to make the game more "accessible" to first time FF players and they've obviously heard rumours about the tactics and in depth strategy and since the majority of people these days have the attention span of a gnat, they made it with the Call of Duty linear paradigm (excuse the pun). Good review mate.

Borderlands is a gem of a game and the main advantage over Fallout 3 it has is the fact it supports the drop-in, drop-out co-operative campaign which gives it an edge over all the other games of this genre. The diversity of each of the Vault Hunters gives it another edge as having a mix makes a really formidable combination on the battlefield. There were rumours that this game was going to pioneer the cross platform co-op but alas that seems to have waned now.

I can seriously give a thumbs up for the DLC which has been released. The Zombie Island of Dr Ned is atmospheric and has some very good side quests which are surprisingly full and entertaining considering that this is only an add-on. This helped me abstain from purchasing Left 4 Dead 2 for a couple of months because I another outlet for shooting zombies...and I was a level 47 Hunter with a flaming SMG :D

Matty, I totally agree with your review here and it's nice to see someone compliment a game for its art form instead of the sheer quantity of viscera that usually accompanies the FPS genre.
