Happy New 2010

With Christmas out of the way for another year, it’s time to reflect on what we have learnt from the year by gone and look towards to the year of 2010. It has been all a bit doom and gloom (and I’m sure you’re not going to ignore that fact!) but perhaps the new year will bring us a glimmer of hope. This will only happen if:

• The media starts reporting the news again (i.e. the facts), rather than sensationalise almost every story tha comes their way.
• Retailers (especially furniture retailers) stop making ridiculous so called ‘savings’ and making fools of their customers. If you really think your saving 50%, you’re living in a cloud.
• Allow small businesses to grow into an established businesses – support your locals!

The most important thing to remember is to look after number one – but also, do try to keep smiling, it will all be well in the end!
