The Beautiful has just got more beautiful.
It has been almost three weeks now since Okami HD was released on the Playstation 3 as a download only release via the Playstation Network store. As an avid fan of the original (certainly one of my top 3 games of all time), I was happy to pay the £15.99 it costs to play it a third time round, this time in HD.
The menu system is the same, the story line is the same and everything will look very familiar to those who played the PS2 version. Nothing has changed, with the obvious exception of the graphics and the sound. That is instantly noticeable – the...

Details were released back in September, but now the release is upon us – Okami HD is still set for a Halloween release – two days time!
So far, this game has had a sad story. When this little gem of a game was released back in 2006, it was not well heard of. Which is a real shame, because it was actually one of the best games on the PS2 platform. To top it off, the developers went bust soon after its release (Cloverleaf Studios).

The PC game was a real time strategy, the PS1 game was a first person shooter with an element of real time strategy. Now, we have a platformer.
This isn’t really going to be a review. I like to review games once I’ve played more than just the demo. I also like to review games that I have played more than just the demo on a...

I’ve been all NES-ed up recently. At the boot sale the other week I picked up an old Nintendo 64 for £15, together with Goldeneye and F1 Grand Prix. Since then, I’ve bought Micro Machines 64 Turbo (the Nintendo 64 port of Micro Machines V3) and two additional controllers for some 4 player goodness. That put me into a retro mood, and thus I dug out my old NES. I have spent most of my time since to restore it back to its original colour and to get the pins working on the connector.
While I am busy working on that project, I wanted to just get on and play some NES games. So, I found Nemulator...

Many video gamers have complained about the Playstation Network being down. true enough, it has been down since last Wednesday. Pretty bad, especially when you hear that our personal details may or may not have been exposed to however managed to intrude the network to rob Sony of its customers private details. It’s not been confirmed, but still, it’s not looking promising for PSN users.
Then again, while Playstation gamers vent their anger on Sony, let us not forget a few core principles here:
1) The PSN is free – we are not actually paying an annual fee for being part of the network,...
